Justin Bieber Fever

According to reports Sunday, allegedly Justin Bieber was almost trampled before a concert in Glendale, Arizona. Trying to escape fans, Justin Bieber rode a segway down the sidewalk hoping to make a quiet escape. Only one problem, the girls had already caught a glimpse of Justin, and started wildly chasing and mobbing him. This is not the first time Justin Bieber has had issues with large crowds of people. Last November Justin Bieber was forced to cancel his Sydney concert after ten girls fainted and were almost trampled by the crowd of 5,000 people. In another incident Justin Bieber’s own mother was knocked over when a crowd of 500 rushed toward him at a New Zealand airport. Looks to me like every one’s got “Bieber Fever”.

Besides acting, singing, and dancing Justin Timberlake has something new to add to his resume, directing. Justin Timberlake recently stepped behind the camera and directed the ad campaign for his new 901 tequila. Furthermore besides just directing, Justin Timberlake did the casting within the commercials which included long-time girlfriend Jessica Biel’s younger brother- Also coincidentally named Justin who works for the company already. Justin Timberlake was on set for three days shooting at estates in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, and the famous Standard Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. A source reports that Justin was a “let’s get the work done kind of boss”. Justin even thanked everyone personally after a shoot. Props to Justin for the manners and getting on Jessica Biel’s family’s good side.

Looks like were not the only ones who think Kim Kardashian and Taylor Lautner are eye candy worthy, so does artist Jason Mecier. Jason Mecier has made two portraits of Kim Kardashian and Taylor Lautner made entirely out of candy. The main base of the painting?- Red Vines black and red licorice. These portraits are part of a We Like to Watch TV collection in San Francisco by Jason Mecier and his partner Adam J. Ansell. Now the question of the day, how much would a work of art like this go for? The answer is 1,000-2,000 dollars.

Jason Mecier has also created one of the actress Mo’Nique which has already been purchased by Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. As for Adam Ansell, he has painted portraits of The Real Housewives of Atlanta NeNe Leakes and Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub. Looks like Linda Hogan has just been recently engaged, and to a much younger man. Reportedly, Hulk Hogan has confirmed reports that indeed his ex-wife Linda Hogan is engaged to Charlie Hill who is 29 years younger than 50-year-old Hogan. Hulk Hogan’s publicist said “He is very happy for Linda, and wishes them both well.” Charlie Hill, who is 21, is a year younger than Linda and Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, and two years older than their son Nick. Reportedly the two will swap vows sometime on their new yacht which is ironically called Alimony.

However Linda isn’t the only one engaged, so is ex-husband Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan got engaged last December to Jennifer McDaniel.

Steve Carell Leaving The Office Why: Steve Carell’s Answer

According to reports, Steve Carell and his character Michael are leaving the hit show The Office. Steve Carell confirmed the reports during the Red Carpet premiere of his newest movie, Despicable Me. Steve said “I just think it’s time,” when referring to the seventh season contract he signed years ago. 

Apparently, Steve Carell will be leaving The Office after the 2010-2011 season which ends in May 2011. Although Steve Carell is leaving The Office, Steve insists that the show will go on without him saying, “It doesn’t mean the end of the show.”

I think it’s just a dynamic change to the show, which could be a good thing, actually. Add some new life and some new energy…I see it as a positive in general for the show.” Still many fans insist that the show won’t be the same without Steve Carell and Michael Scott.

As Survivor enters it’s 21st season there will be a new twist, young vs. old. One tribe will consist of contestants over the age of 40 and the other tribe will be contestants younger than 30. This new split should be good for the older contestants because they usually get voted out during the first tribal council. The elder tribe has been named Espada the Spanish word for “sword” while the younger tribe is named La Flor the Spanish word for “flower”.

Survivor Nicaragua also has a new time slot, they will be airing on Wednesdays at 8pm. The premiere of Survivor Nicaragua will be September 15 at 8pm on CBS.
